PodCast of the Dharma Lectures from Berkeley Buddhist Monastery

Avatamsaka Sutra Lectures - PodCast
Available for download using iTunes

As you may know, Dharma Master Heng Sure lectured on The Ten Practices Chapter of the The Avatamsaka Sutra from the Berkeley Buddhist Monastery on Saturday nights.

We have received requests to make the audio available for download tolisten to the talks later on. This is especially useful if you happen to be in a time zone different from California.

The audio is available in MP3 format at www.dharmaradio.org for web listening or for download.

In addition, now you can use the free Apple program iTunes to subscribe to the lectures on your PC or Mac.

Here's how this works. Once you subscribe (it's free!) using iTunes, the lectures and sometimes other audio files we put on www.dharmaradio.org are automatically downloaded to your PC or Mac as the audio files become available week after week.

Then you can listen to the lectures on the computer or play them for a group or sync them to your iPod or copy them to a CD.

How to subscribe using iTunes

Click here iTunes 1 Click or

1. Install iTunes on your PC or Mac.

2. Start iTunes

3. Click Music Store,Chose Genre, Podcasts, in the search box enter "Berkeley Monastery:

4. When you See "Berkeley Buddhist Monastery", click Subscribe.

That's it.

Podcast Tip: In your iTunes program, click "Podcasts" on the left side and then click the circular double "Update" arrows on the upper right side. This will give you the latest list of audio files available.

Please note the lecture files tend to be large, about 25 MegaBytes. They will download in a reasonable amount of time with a fast Internet connection (about 2 minutes), but will take a long time to download using a 56k modem connection. But it is possible.

As the weekly lectures become available, they automatically download to your computer without any further action on your part. The audio files will usually be available several days after the Saturday lecture.

As you know, if you can't come to the Berkeley Buddhist Monastary in person, you can always watch the lecture live via WebCast which is in video and audio format.
